It was always a pleasure to see Simon in the Common Room, he was so well thought of by all the staff and boys at the school. I will miss chatting with him about ancient Greek tragedy, Tolkien or just about anything: he was always enthusiastic about whatever it was and so very knowledgeable. I'm very privileged to have been able to work with him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
