Yanbo Yin (2015)

I was very shocked and saddened to learn of Mr Stacey's passing. I was lucky enough to have interacted with Mr Stacey a lot during my years at KES. He was my debating coach, Oxbridge admissions co-ordinator and IB English teacher. He was a deeply selfless and conscientious teacher who always put his students first. He was generous with his time and spared no effort when it came to helping us perform at our highest possible level in the classroom, in the debating chamber or at an Oxbridge interview. I will always remember him fondly, and the lessons I learned in Room 176 will remain with me as I go through life and I strongly suspect that I will continue to find new ways that I have benefited from all that Mr Stacey taught me. I am indebted to him and deeply fortunate to have been his student. My condolences to his family at this difficult time.
