It was very upsetting to hear of Mr Stacey’s passing. It made me realise just how great an influence he was on me and so many others. When I was applying to study Law, he really took me under his wing. He held several one-on-one sessions with me, from seven in the morning before school started and for hours after school was finished. At the time I was so focused on getting through it that I never really stopped to appreciate his efforts. For someone to commit that much time to one student is humbling. I can honestly say that I would not have gained a place at university without him. I am truly indebted to him for any career that I may build in the future. Although it is a little late to say it, thank you, Mr Stacey. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and those close to him.
