An honour to be taught by one of the kindest and most considerate men I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Despite my brief time at KES, I feel like I have I gained so much more than that time should have allowed. Despite originally my SL English lessons were going to be the low of the week, Simon gave an incitful and interesting twist on the required curriculum. His endless anecdotes and interest into all manner of topics made his lessons some of the best time I had at KES. I most fondly remember an in depth discussion of some of the more niche works of Tolkien. His passion and commitment to the school was second to none and I know he will be sadly missed by so many.
