I ran into Mr Stacey one day, many years after having been in his year 9 English class, and was genuinely shocked at how well he remembered even the smallest details of my learning style and disposition. He was clearly a man who cared deeply about his students and colleagues. I’m terribly sad to hear of his passing and send my best wishes to his family.
